Job Title: Test Site Technician
Position Overview
Responsible for assembly of test antennas, tower sections, and placing on turn table using crane for testing. Trouble shooting, maintaining and repairing test site equipment. Testing and adjusting antenna systems. Recording and documenting antenna tests.
Responsibilities
- 1. Assist in troubleshooting and repair of the test setup and equipment.
- 2. Assist with tuning studies.
- 3. Assist with directional studies.
- 4. Recording of test data through range software, sketches of test setups, and photographs.
- 5. Has a general knowledge of test range computer programs.
- 6. Must be capable of safe operation of test site heavy equipment and vehicles.
- 7. Must exhibit the safe operation of rigging and climbing equipment

- b) Knots
- c) Wire rope
- d) Chains and shackles
- e) Climbing equipment
Other Required Skills/Requirements
1. Operation of test site heavy equipment and vehicles
2. Basic shop knowledge (drill press, abrasive saws, band saw, etc.)
3. Must be able to read prints.
4. Must be able to follow instructions.
5. Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
6. Performs other duties as assigned
7. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials. Must be capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 70 lbs. Must be comfortable climbing and working at heights of over 50’ above the ground.
Education Experience
High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree in Electronics Technology and knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred. Certified for crane operation preferred, training provided if not certified.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
