Ice Shields
ERI manufactures a wide array of standard leg-mounted and face-mounted ice shields to provide protection to transmission lines, side-mounted television and FM antennas, and for microwave antennas. ERI also supplies custom ice shield configurations for special applications. This product family also includes the ERI's INVISI-SHIELD® Electrically Transparent Ice Shield which can be mounted directly over an antenna element. This close proximity allows the INVISI-SHIELD® to be significantly smaller while increasing protection when compared to a steel shield. The electrical transparency of the INVISI-SHIELD® will permit installation between antenna bays in extreme icing conditions. -
Grounding and Lightning Protection
ERI offers a variety of grounding and lightning protection products for towers. These include the ERI Lightning Spurs hybrid lightning dissipater and Guy Guard™ Ground Wire Attachment Kits. The K-ROD® Enhanced Grounding System provides a superior, stable, low resistance interface with true earth while minimizing installation area and time. -
Accessory Products
ERI offers some useful accessory products which are supplied with towers built by ERI and also supplied as replacement components for existing structures built by other suppliers. These include the ULTRA® Guy Anchor Rod Quick, Easy, and Reproducible Inspection of buried guy anchor rods through a port to allow non-destructive ultrasonic testing of guy anchor integrity, without soil excavation. ERI also supplies a number of different Broadcast Facility Safety Signs to keep personnel informed of Rf concerns at your antenna site. General site guidelines should be posted along with the appropriate sign to identify changing areas of concern.
