FM Hybrid Splitter/Combiners
ERI manufactures a wide array of hybrid splitters/combiners for all broadcast bands. The FM hybrid product line includes standard designs for applications from one kilowatt to 280 kilowatts. Product offering are available for indoor applications as well as specialized pressurized designs for outdoor applications, even for very harsh environmental conditions.
CH210 3 dB FM Hybrid Splitter/Combiner

Hybrid Combiner for FM 3.0 dB 10 kW average power
FM (5 kW + 5 kW) (88.1 to 107.9 MHz)
The CH210 is a 3.0 dB, 90-degree Hybrid Coupler suitable for use as either a power combiner or a power divider. The Hybrid has a “cross-over” configuration. The Hybrid is rated to handle up to 10 kW (2 x 5 kW). The base model has 1-5/8-inch unflanged female port connections. Other configurations are optionally available.
HY0241Series 3.0 dB FM Hybrid Splitter/Combiners

Hybrid Combiner for FM 3.0 dB 15 kW to 120 kW average power
3 dB, FM Band 88 MHz to 108 MHz
The HY0241 is a 3-dB, 90-degree Hybrid Coupler that combines the power of two FM transmitters. The hybrid can also be used as a power divider. All standard models are “cross-over” designs, so when used as a combiner, the inputs are on one side of the hybrid, and the load port and combined output are on the opposite side. The input port opposite the combined output lags the other input by 90 degrees. The hybrid is available with any combination of 1-5/8-inch, 3-1/8-inch, 4-1/16-inch, and 6-1/8-inch flanged male ports. They are constructed of lightweight aluminum and can be designed to have coupling ratios other than 3.0 dB. Power handling is dependent on flange selection. Models can handle up to 120 kW at the combined output (2 x 60 kW).
HY0248 3.0 dB FM Hybrid Splitter/Combiners

Hybrid Combiner for FM 3.0 dB 150 kW to 280 kW average power
3 dB, FM Band 88 MHz to 108 MHz
The HY0248 is a 3-dB, 90-degree Hybrid Coupler provided as an output hybrid for high-power constant impedance FM bandpass filter/combiner modules. The hybrid can also be used as a power divider. It is a “cross-over” design, so the inputs, when used as a combiner, are on one side of the hybrid, and the wideband input and output are on the opposite. The input port opposite the combined output lags the opposite input by 90 degrees. The hybrid is available with any combination or 3-1/8-inch, 4-1/16-inch, 6-1/8-inch, or 9-3/16-inch Marman or flanged, fixed male ports. They are constructed of lightweight aluminum and can be supplied at coupling ratios other than 3.0 dB. Power handling is dependent on flange selection. Models can handle up to 150 kW (2 x 75 kW) at the output when used as a combiner. Hybrids with coupling ratios other than 3 dB are available by special order.
